🏥 Health and Care
Responsible breeding in our kennel focuses on eliminating hereditary diseases.
For registered dogs with a pedigree, screening for hip dysplasia (HD) and elbow dysplasia (ED) is mandatory. Our breeding dogs are X-ray tested for dysplasia with the result A/A.
A German Shepherd needs at least 2 hours of active exercise daily along with mental stimulation (games, training).
The long coat requires regular brushing, especially during shedding season, to prevent matting.
Long-haired German Shepherds differ from the short-haired variety mainly by their coat, which features a distinct undercoat and is longer, softer, and forms feathering on the ears and legs. In our kennel, we specialize in the all-black coloration of this breed, known as solid black.
